Sam & Devorah Foundation for Transgender Youth is excited to announce our upcoming Fall Retreat for trans and nonbinary youth ages 12-17! This exciting opportunity will take place in the Berkshires from October 21st-23rd. Apply TODAY to save your spot!
Since 2018, our annual fall retreat has been an anchor of our organization. The weekend-long retreat provides trans and nonbinary youth a beautiful opportunity to celebrate their identities in a safe and accepting environment. It’s designed to be uplifting, affirmative, and inclusive, offering activities such as easy hikes, low ropes courses, outdoor and indoor games, mindfulness, and art projects. In addition, there will trans and nonbinary specific workshops and discussion groups. Evenings will be all about camaraderie and building community– filled with campfires, music, and socializing.
The cost of the entire weekend is $175, with scholarships available. We encourage people to sign up right away, as space is limited to 25 teens on a first come, first serve basis. You can read more about the retreat on our website, and find the application for this retreat here.
Our fall retreat offers campers the crucial opportunity to connect with other trans and nonbinary teens and young adults. We know that trans and nonbinary youth need to be celebrated, supported, and affirmed, and our Fall Retreat cultivates the environment for teens to be loved and seen for who they are.
