Expanding gender-affirmative care in NH through training, resource-sharing, consultation, and advocacy

Rally, testify or contact your representative to keep non-discrimination protections in NH

Information provided by 603 Equality

Date: February 1st, NH Capitol

In 2018, New Hampshire did the right thing and said everyone should live free from discrimination – including transgender people.

On January 4th, 2024, New Hampshire state representatives narrowly voted to allow anti-transgender discrimination in public spaces by passing HB 396 (full bill text: https://www.gencourt.state.nh.us/bill…/billinfo.aspx…)

But thankfully, all New Hampshire state reps will have the opportunity to reconsider and re-vote on HB 396.

Join us to hold signs and tell state representatives: vote to keep basic nondiscrimination protections in place! All people deserve to live free in public spaces – including transgender people.

If they voted “yea” on either motion, they voted to take away nondiscrimination protections for trans people in certain public spaces

“Nay” is a good vote, thank them!

Some reps may have excused or unexcused absences.

Email them to thank them or ask them to change their vote, and ask if they will attend the Thursday February 1st House session for this critical vote.

Thank you!
